HS&S Supports She Leads Justice at the 2026 Constance Baker Motley Award Luncheon

Hurwitz Sagarin & Slossberg was proud to sponsor She Leads Justice’s 2026 Constance Baker Motley Award Luncheon on October 21st, with partner Erica Nolan and associate Catie Ingersoll attending on behalf of the firm.

She Leads Justice, formerly the Connecticut Women’s Education and Legal Fund, advocates for under-resourced and marginalized women in Connecticut, working to close the civil legal justice gap and to create state policy for economic security.

This year’s award recipient was Gretchen Raffa, Southern New England Chief Policy and Advocacy Officer for Planned Parenthood. The award is named for Constance Baker Motley, the pioneering civil rights attorney who became the first Black woman appointed to the federal bench.
