Five HS&S Attorneys Named to Super Lawyers 2026

Hurwitz Sagarin & Slossberg is proud to announce that five attorneys have been selected for Super Lawyers 2026.

Partners David A. Slossberg and Gary Phelan were named to the Connecticut Super Lawyers list. Partner Erica O. Nolan, Counsel Timothy C. Cowan, and Associate Julie Pinette were selected as Rising Stars.

Super Lawyers recognizes the top 5% of attorneys in each state through peer nominations and independent research. The Rising Stars designation goes to the top 2.5% of attorneys under 40 or with 10 years or less in practice. Selection involves evaluation of peer recognition, professional achievement, and other indicators of excellence.

David has been recognized as a Super Lawyer for 20 consecutive years (2007-2026). Gary has earned the designation for 21 consecutive years (2006-2026). Erica has been named a Rising Star for eight consecutive years (2019-2026). Tim has been selected as a Rising Star for four consecutive years (2023-2026). Julie has been recognized as a Rising Star for her fourth year (2020-2022, 2026).

The attorneys represent a range of practice areas at HS&S, including business litigation, employment law, CUTPA claims, class actions, intellectual property, and appellate advocacy. Their work spans complex commercial disputes, workplace discrimination matters, construction litigation, and high-stakes civil litigation in Connecticut state and federal courts.
