David Slossberg Named a Litigator of the Week Runner-Up by Law.com

MILFORD, Conn. (August 21, 2026) — Hurwitz Sagarin & Slossberg announced today that partner David A. Slossberg has been recognized as a runner-up in Law.com's Litigator of the Week feature, following a significant ruling on behalf of former executives of AIG Financial Products.

The recognition follows a decision by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, which held that approximately $37 billion transferred by American International Group to AIG Financial Products Corp. constituted an equity infusion rather than debt. The ruling came after a nine-day evidentiary hearing, in which the court sided with 46 former executives who are seeking to recover more than $600 million in deferred compensation and related claims.

David has represented the former executives alongside a team from Kobre & Kim and Landis Rath & Cobb.
